A corrugated box shouldn’t be selected from one number alone. Product weight matters, but so do stack height, internal movement, storage, handling, and the way the carton travels through distribution. Start with the packed product.

Edge crush performance is one specification used when evaluating corrugated board under compression. For boxes that will be stacked or palletized, board performance and carton design should be considered together rather than assuming a thicker box automatically solves the problem.

Internal fit deserves the same attention. Too much unused space can mean more cushioning and more room for the product to shift. Too little space can make packing difficult or leave no room for inserts.

What Are the Production and Shipping Options?

Packaging Mindz uses a general production timeframe of 15 to 25 days. Qualifying rush projects may be produced in 5 to 7 days, while an approximately 3 to 5 day option may be available when the project qualifies and that schedule is confirmed before production. Production and transit are separate.

Packaging Mindz offers free shipping and supports air freight and sea freight options. The appropriate shipping arrangement depends on the final order, destination, volume, and production plan, so transit timing should not be assumed from the production schedule.
