Custom Corrugated Boxes for Shipping and Product Packaging

A shipping box has to do more than carry a logo. It needs the right dimensions, board construction, closure, and internal space for the product moving through your packing and distribution process.

We produce custom corrugated boxes around those requirements rather than forcing your product into a stock size. You can order branded shipping cartons, ecommerce mailers, corrugated packaging boxes, and custom structures made around supplied dimensions and artwork. Fit comes first. From there, we work through the structure, print, finish, quantity, and production requirements with you.

Need pricing for a specific box? Send your dimensions, quantity, product weight, and artwork to Packaging Mindz for a custom quote.

Corrugated Box Styles and Custom Sizes

The right structure depends on how you pack the product, how customers open it, and whether the box is being used mainly for shipping, presentation, or both. That choice matters.

Corrugated Shipping Cartons

Traditional corrugated shipping boxes work well when you need a practical carton that can be packed, closed, taped, stacked, and moved through a distribution process. Dimensions can be developed around the packed product rather than unnecessary empty space. These boxes can stay plain for operational shipping or carry printed branding when the outer carton is also part of your customer experience.

Corrugated Mailer Boxes

Mailer boxes are useful for ecommerce orders, subscription products, kits, promotional shipments, and direct customer deliveries where presentation matters when the box opens. Their folding structure creates a different opening experience from a standard taped shipping carton. Interior and exterior branding can also be considered according to the final box design and print setup.

Custom Shaped Corrugated Packaging

Some products simply don’t fit a standard carton well. Custom dimensions and die-cut structures let the packaging follow the product, insert, set, or assortment more closely. This can be useful for bundled products, unusual dimensions, ecommerce kits, display-ready packs, and products that need a particular opening or packing arrangement.

Materials for Corrugated Boxes

Corrugated board is built from liner material and a fluted medium. The flute creates space between the liners, while the complete board structure gives the box its shape and resistance to pressure during handling. Thickness alone is not enough.

Your product weight, packed dimensions, stacking conditions, shipping method, and box style should guide the board choice. A lighter ecommerce mailer may need a different construction from a larger shipping carton carrying several products.

Kraft corrugated and E flute corrugated options can suit different presentation and structural requirements. We review the intended use before settling on the material specification rather than choosing board by appearance alone.

Custom Printing, Branding, and Finishing Options

Your corrugated packaging can carry more than a shipping label. Logos, brand colors, product information, handling details, patterns, instructions, and campaign artwork can be incorporated into the box design where the chosen structure allows it.

CMYK printing and PMS color references are available for suitable projects. PMS references can help when tighter control around a specific brand color is needed, though the final printed appearance still depends on the substrate and production setup. Keep the artwork practical. Packaging Mindz can review dielines and artwork before production so folds, panels, print areas, and structural cuts are considered together.

Compatible projects can also use treatments such as matte or gloss coating, Spot UV, foil details, embossing, debossing, or custom window cutting. Not every finish belongs on every corrugated box, so we match the treatment to the board and intended result.

Already have artwork? Send the file with your box dimensions and quantity so we can review the packaging setup before quoting production.

Board Strength, Flute, and Product Fit

A corrugated box shouldn’t be selected from one number alone. Product weight matters, but so do stack height, internal movement, storage, handling, and the way the carton travels through distribution. Start with the packed product.

Edge crush performance is one specification used when evaluating corrugated board under compression. For boxes that will be stacked or palletized, board performance and carton design should be considered together rather than assuming a thicker box automatically solves the problem.

Internal fit deserves the same attention. Too much unused space can mean more cushioning and more room for the product to shift. Too little space can make packing difficult or leave no room for inserts.

If your product needs separation, corrugated partitions, fitted components, or another internal arrangement can be discussed as part of the structural brief. The goal is a box built around how the product is packed, not just its outside measurements.

Corrugated Packaging for Ecommerce, Retail, and Distribution

One structure rarely fits everything. Ecommerce brands may want a printed mailer that combines shipment and presentation in one format. Retail suppliers may need corrugated cartons that organize multiple units before they reach stores. Subscription companies often need consistent dimensions for recurring packs, while product manufacturers may care more about packing speed, stacking, and repeat orders.

We build the specification around that use. Your box can be planned for a single product, a multiproduct kit, recurring SKU, wholesale shipment, or another defined packing setup.

Can You Order Custom Corrugated Boxes Wholesale?

Packaging Mindz accepts custom packaging orders starting at 100 units, which gives smaller brands room to order without committing to thousands of boxes at the start. There is no fixed maximum order quantity. Larger wholesale requirements can be quoted according to the box dimensions, board, printing, finishing, quantity, and production brief. You can start at 100 units. If the same packaging later needs to support larger recurring orders, the specification can remain tied to your approved product and artwork requirements.

Planning a larger run? Send your required quantity and box specifications for wholesale pricing.

What Are the Production and Shipping Options?

Packaging Mindz uses a general production timeframe of 15 to 25 days. Qualifying rush projects may be produced in 5 to 7 days, while an approximately 3 to 5 day option may be available when the project qualifies and that schedule is confirmed before production. Production and transit are separate.

Packaging Mindz offers free shipping and supports air freight and sea freight options. The appropriate shipping arrangement depends on the final order, destination, volume, and production plan, so transit timing should not be assumed from the production schedule.

Why Order Corrugated Boxes from Packaging Mindz?

You don’t need to arrive with every technical packaging term figured out. Give us the product dimensions, weight, intended use, quantity, artwork, and any packing concerns you already know. We can turn that information into a clearer production brief.

Artwork and dieline review also happen before the order moves forward. That matters when graphics cross folds, logos sit near cuts, or the box structure changes how a design appears once assembled.

For businesses managing several products, we can work from repeat SKU specifications instead of treating every reorder as a completely new conversation. That saves backtracking.

Faqs

What Is The Difference Between Corrugated Cardboard Boxes And Regular Cardboard Boxes?
Corrugated cardboard boxes use fluted paper between liner sheets, while ordinary paperboard cartons use flat board. The fluted structure adds cushioning and compression resistance for shipping.
Custom corrugated boxes are commonly specified by inside length, width, and depth. Send the packed product dimensions too, so the box can allow for inserts or cushioning.
ECT refers to edge crush testing, which measures corrugated board strength under edgewise compression. It helps buyers compare board performance for stacking and distribution requirements.
Clean corrugated packaging boxes are widely collected for recycling, but coatings, labels, adhesives, food residue, and local program rules can affect whether a specific box is accepted.
Yes, a corrugated shipping box can be designed for return use, but closure style, tear strips, resealing needs, and carrier handling should be considered before production.
